Meet Our Providers
“Patients are people with diverse needs and wants. I look forward to long-term relationships with those I have had the privilege to care for in all phases of life.”
“I wanted to establish and maintain patient relationships – becoming an OB/GYN offered me the chance to pursue that goal. I’m able to share medical and life experiences with my patients. Right now, I’m caring for a second generation pregnancy; I’ll deliver the baby of a woman I delivered.”
“I strive to treat my patients with the love, concern and respect that I would want for myself, my family members and my friends. As a woman and mother, I understand the challenges in achieving a comfortable balance between the many demands on your time. I want to provide a compassionate space where we can help you take care of yourself as well as care for those around you.”
“My patients are some of the most remarkable women I have ever met. I am
constantly amazed at the ability of my patients to cope with the multitude of
issues that confront them daily.”
A Physician I once worked with told me: “Compassion is the key to success. As
long as you always listen and respond to your patients, you will be successful”.
This has helped pave my practice and my success.
Katy has over 20 years of experience in Medicine; she believes in a holistic approach to women’s health care and values the partnership between the patient and provider. Providing a safe space for patients to feel heard in a compassionate manner allows Katy to help patients feel empowered about their unique concerns. Recently becoming a yoga teacher has further solidified her belief in the mind-body connection.
“I have realized very quickly that being a Physician Assistant is less about treating my patients’ illnesses and more about treating each patient as a whole individual, and being there for them at their most vulnerable moments. My lifelong dream was to be able to take care of those communities who didn’t have access, those that lacked resources, and those who weren’t used to receiving quality healthcare. Now that I am in this position, I get great joy and fulfillment from bringing care to others, and I strive daily to provide the best care to my patients.”
“I appreciate the continuum of women’s life stages; finding joy in treating teens to mature women irrespective of their life circumstances. I acknowledge that every stage affects women differently allowing me to provide specialized care. My career started in 2004, guiding obstetrical patients through their journey. I truly do have a tender spot for them while understanding the complexities that often accompany pregnancy. Providing compassion to each unique patient is my highest priority.“
