OB/Gyn requires that patients feel comfortable enough to tell you some of their most intimate concerns. Helping patients to feel heard and understood is one of the greatest joys I have in my profession. I love education and teaching, and I enjoy our role in educating our patients about their own health care.

I enjoy performing endometrial ablations, a minor outpatient surgical procedure for treatment of heavy bleeding. With just a short, one-time treatment, most women are able to significantly reduce or eliminate their heavy bleeding.

I also enjoy minimally invasive surgery for urinary incontinence.  Many women have limited their activities and dramatically changed their lifestyle because they are embarrassed about unintentional leakage of urine. In a safe, outpatient procedure, they are able to regain their lifestyle and their dignity.
